Work Description.
Operates gasoline or diesel powered heavy equipment to lift and move materials and items as needed. May run the following tools: crane, earthmover, bulldozer, cherry picker, stinger, front-end loader, etc
. Reads, studies and interprets work specifications, strategies and blue prints.  Utilizes fundamental mathematics capabilities including geometry, trigonometry to make calculations for story.  Can finish challenging work activities according to work requirements with marginal or no direction.
Needed Capabilities.
1. Drives tools to function website using expertise of driving regulations and interpreting driving signals and routes tasks of hoist worker or rigger in placing blocks and out riggers to stop capsizing when raising hefty loads.
2. Starts engine, relocates hand and foot levers and controls to rotate equipment to raise, lower and extend boom, and to raise and decrease the tons line.
3. Receives and provides hand signals and/or verbal guideline to and from flagman in order to identify positioning of tools and specific positioning of materials being relocated. Must make use of know-how of hand signals and flagging techniques daily.
4. Should interpret and review tons charts and make correct sling and collar variety using fundamental math abilities consisting of geometry to determine the tons and to verify with the equipment.
5. Responsible for determining dangerous story problems such as unsteady ground, higher winds and blockage of traffic and/or pedestrians.
6. In charge of examining functional problem of devices prior to use and doing regular upkeep tasks such as lubrication of moving components, inspecting fluid degrees and insuring secure cables, chains and wheels.
Called for Experience.
1. Minimum of Three year encounter.
2. Rigging and flagging abilities.
3. Must pass Pala-Interstate Credentials Test.
4. 20/30 and 20/50 Snellen Eye View- shade vision/depth perception.
5. Undergo OSHA required physical examination.
6. Undergo standard audiogram.
7. Should pass drug/alcohol display and ambient check.
8. Must hold a valid drivers certificate.
9. NCCER or NCCCO accreditation might be required.
